Francesca Cini received her BSc degree and MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Pisa, Italy, in 2014 and 2017 respectively.
She is currently a PhD student at the Artificial Hands Area of The BioRobotics Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa, Italy.
Her research aims to improve human-robot interactions taking inspiration from human behaviours during collaborative actions. In particular she focused on object handover, probably the most basic collaborative task between humans, with the aim to increase the perceived fluency and naturalness during the execution of the task.
